Privacy Policy

The Vibe Houze is run by four flatmates in Gurgaon, not a company with a legal team. This page is a plain explanation of what we collect when you apply, why, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, message us and we'll actually answer.
What we collect
When you apply for a Vibe, we collect what the application form asks for. Today that's:
- Your name
- Phone number (WhatsApp)
- Email address
- Your Instagram or LinkedIn profile URL
- A short answer about why you want to join
- Confirmation that you're in the right age range
We don't run analytics or tracking cookies on this site. The only automatic data collected is standard web server logs (like IP address) kept briefly by our hosting provider for security, the same as almost any website.
Why we collect it
To review your application, decide who fits a particular room, and contact you about it. Your Instagram or LinkedIn is there so we can do a basic check that you're a real person before inviting a stranger into someone's living room, not to look you up for any other reason.
When you apply, you get one automatic confirmation email saying we've received it. It does not include the community WhatsApp link or any other invitation. That only happens after we've actually reviewed your application ourselves.
Who sees it
The four of us who run The Vibe Houze. We use Supabase to store applications and Resend to send that one confirmation email, both as service providers, not as anyone we sell or hand your data to. We don't share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
The WhatsApp community
If you're approved and choose to join our WhatsApp community, that happens manually, by us, and you're free to leave at any time the same way you'd leave any WhatsApp group. Once you're in it, WhatsApp's own privacy policy governs how that platform handles your data, not this one.
Photos at events
We only take photos with consent, and never without it. If you don't want to be photographed at a Vibe, tell a host, no questions asked.
How long we keep it
We don't currently have an automatic deletion schedule. If you want your application data deleted or corrected, email us and we'll take care of it directly.
Your rights
You can ask us what we have on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, for any reason. Just email us.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or how we use it changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
